From 30th May 2013 you may be able to convert your empty office premises into a residential accommodation-ideal opportunity especially for those property owners with empty offices above shops and those who haven’t got 12 months marketing information to convince the LPA that there is no demand for the office use.
Be aware that there are 17 locla authorities that have been granted an exception to these changes and normal permission requirements may still apply.
